About the book
In Phnom Penh, 2058, freedom is a memory.
The Designed, flawless children of genetic perfection, rule the city’s gleaming towers. The Naturals, the rest of humanity, struggle to survive in the shadows. And somewhere in between, a rumor spreads of the Garuda, assassins who strike without warning and leave nothing but silence and fear.
Kai was born a Natural, destined to fail by the state’s calculations. But destiny is something he refuses to accept. Haunted by his past and driven by loyalty and loss, he becomes a ghost within the machine, hunted yet always hunting.
When whispers of a weapon that can shatter Arisara Corporation’s grip begin to surface, Kai is thrust into a brutal war of ideals. To fight back, he must risk everything: his life, his family, and the fragile love that keeps him human.
Part science fiction thriller, part Cambodian tragedy, this novel is a story of rebellion, sacrifice, and the power of choosing your own fate when every number says you cannot.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Arisara 2058 about?
Arisara 2058 is a dystopian sci-fi thriller set in a future Phnom Penh ruled by Devata—an all-seeing AI that promises perfection while dividing the “Designed” from the “Naturals.” The story follows Kai, a Natural farm boy drawn into the city’s underground and a shadow war involving the mythic Garuda, as he confronts surveillance, black-market upgrades, and a regime that trades freedom for certainty. It’s part coming-of-age, part political conspiracy—about family, choice, and what it means to stay human when technology decides who gets to be “real.”
How much does The Silent Echoes cost?
Arisara 2058 is free to read with Kindle Unlimited.
If you prefer to own it, the ebook is $3.99, and the paperback edition is $10.99 — both available through Amazon.
Is Arisara 2058 part of a series?
Yes—Arisara 2058 is Book 2 of The Devata Protocol Saga. Each novel is written to stand alone, so you can start here. For the fullest context on the world’s origins and a few character threads, I recommend reading Phase Shift first—but it isn’t required.
What inspired you to write Arisara 2058?
I’ve watched AI reshape the world in real time, and it made me ask: what does Cambodia’s future look like if technology keeps steering our choices? From that question came a story grounded not in “good vs. evil,” but in family, consequence, and the gray space where humanity and technology collide. I wanted a future that feels plausible—and characters whose struggles at home matter as much as the machines that rule the city.
